Bay Point Golf
Just outside Panama City is the Bay Point Golf Resort, which is made up of 2 championship courses, The Nicklaus and The Meadows. A state favorite, BPGC is also internationally recognized for the playability of the course and the peacefulness of its 1,100 acre wildlife sanctuary. The Nicklaus Course is his only one in the Florida Panhandle and all 7000 yards has golfing magic, whether it be the verdant fairways, wide plateaus, or plenty of shifts in elevation. Some of the holes provide spectacular vantage points for the Grand Lagoon and St. Andrews Bay. The Meadow Course is now finished a major overhaul and is better than ever! This country club offers members abundant privileges but doesn't turn away visitors. Sometimes the fairways are tight, and there are many bunkers and lakes navigate but the course isn't just for pros, as illustrated by the 4 decidedly different tee off points. All 6,913 yards are a deliciously manicured challenge.
